From January 20 - 21, 2026, the CORNERSTONE partners came together online for the 5th Consortium Meeting to exchange on insights, align on progress, and shape the next steps toward advancing sustainable and digitally enabled industrial water and energy management.
From designing innovative technology-trains at lab scale (WP1) to developing smart digital monitoring tools (WP2) and demonstrating integrated solutions in industrial environments (WP3), the discussions highlighted the interdisciplinary collaboration in CORNERSTONE.
Beyond the technical work, the partners also focused on sustainability assessments (WP4), decision-support tools for resource-efficient operations (WP5), and effective communication and dissemination strategies (WP6), all under the careful coordination of our management team (WP7).
The General Assembly provided a valuable platform to review upcoming deliverables, refine our internal processes, and plan ahead, all with the shared vision of transforming industrial water, energy, and solute stewardship.
